Yossi Ghinsberg “The Living Legend’ was born on April 25, 1959 (age 57 years.) Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. When Ghinsberg was 21, he encountered an almost deadly experience in the Amazon jungle. He has been a motivational speaker since 2001 and has expressed his experiences and difficulties during his three weeks trapped in the Amazon jungle.
Ghinsberg returned to the Amazon ten years after almost losing his life there and made it his home. During this period, he played a decisive role in the establishment and construction of Chalalan, a model ecotourism town.
